It's exactly seven (7) years today you sat on your favourite chair as you sang praise and worship songs with some of your children, grand children and great grandkids, unknown to all you were slipping from one Eternity to another Eternity. It seems only like yesterday when you dragged my hands as I crawled reluctantly to primary school, wondering why the wickedness of not allowing me stay at home to play with my much younger siblings. Then came the Boarding School, the Mother of all Concentration Camps where one's life was ordered by near military barracks-type of discipline, even as you tried explaining the reasons to my sulking heart and blocked ears.
