HER EXCELLENCY, HAJIA TITI ATIKU ABUBAKAR, CALLS FOR A KNOWLEDGE DRIVEN SOCIETY AT A BOOK LAUNCH; ABLY REPRESENTED BY WAYS NATIONAL PRESIDENT, PRINCESS ADEKEMI ADESANYA–EBODA, AT THE LAUNCH
Her Excellency, Hajia Titi Atiku Abubakar, wife of the former vice president and PDP frontline presidential candidate, H.E. Atiku Abubakar, has called for a system that will build a knowledge driven society that will add value to the body of global knowledge and serve as a fountain for humanity to drink from, so that the society can be adequately informed and enlightened..
Hajia Titi Abubakar who was ably represented by the National President/Global coordinator of Women and Youths Support Group, for Atiku 2019, (WAYS), Princess Adekemi Adesanya-Eboda, made this assertion at the unveiling of a book titled “The Book of History” at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Lagos.
The book which is a global compendium containing the profiles of geniuses, legends, philanthropists, professionals and celebrities from their different field of specializations all round the globe is meant to celebrate these categories of people who have contributed positively to the upliftment of their society and the global community at large.
While commending the author, Jeff Ogedengbe, Hajia Titi Abubakar said through her representative, Princess Adesanya-Eboda;
“ No doubt that immense energy and huge scholarly efforts have been painstakingly exerted in producing this book. Hence it deserves encouragement and high commendations”
Continuing, she said the book will surely be a value addition to the body of global knowledge, and a fountain for humanity to drink from; adding that it is also a historical work of art that will keep the past and the present in incisive perspectives with a view to aligning the primordial and contemporary times together, which will benefit humanity immensely.
She also added that academic researchers and students will find the book extremely useful as a veritable reference material.
The WAYS president was accompanied to the event by Hajia Queen Aishat Shamaki, the National Convener of Atiku 2019 National Women Group, who also commended the laudable efforts of the organizers and the author of the Book ....
