WAYS CONDEMNS THE INVASION ON ATIKU’S PRIVATE JET
The Women and Youths .Support Group (W.A.Y.S) for “ATIKU 2019” National President, Princess Kemi Adesanya-Eboda has joined millions of well-meaning Nigerians to condemn the invasion of the private jet of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar by the special security squad.
Princess Adesanya-Eboda said it was very unfair to have subjected Atiku and his entourage to such embarrassing treatment. She declared it was high time Nigeria politicians desist from politics of intimidation and witch-hunting and focus more on issue-based politics that will have positive impact on the lives of the ordinary Nigerians.
She averred that even if Atiku and his jet were to be searched, the exercise ought to have been done in a more respectful manner with great sense of decorum. She reiterated that the statement by the Aviation Ministry that the search of Atiku Abubakar’s plane is “routine exercise” was more of an afterthought to assuage the feelings of majority of Nigerians who were dissatisfied with the security action.
She therefore called on all the politicians in the country to close ranks and work together for the greater good of the nation, instead of resorting to the politics of ‘witch-hunting and intimidation’
Speaking in the same vein, the National General Secretary of the group, Mr Christian Aburime said no matter the intimidation and harassment against Atiku by the government and its agents, Nigerians will always remain steadfast in support and in solidarity with Atiku come 2019, adding that Atiku remains the best option for the Nigerian presidency come 2019, as he has promised to tackle insecurity, reconcile Nigerians, boost education and create massive jobs.
The Women and Youths Support Group (WAYS) for ATIKU 2019, is one of the foremost surrogate groups canvassing for the presidency of Atiku Abubakar for next year presidential election. The group has build formidable structure across the length and breadth of Nigeria in preparedness for the 2019 general elections...
